As a member of the General Accounting and Reporting team, the GL Analyst is responsible for managing accounting, reconciliation, and month-end close (MEC) activities. This role involves solving complex challenges that require both broad and in-depth accounting or finance knowledge, along with new or customized approaches to analysis.
Key Responsibilities & Skills-
- Team Member of General Accounting and Reporting team that is responsible for looking after the accounting and MEC activities.
- Ensure proper control, recording and classification of transactions.
- Should be a team player and should back up the other team members in times of need.
- Good Communication skills (written and oral) & ability to perform multi-tasking and exposure to different cultures.
- Self-driven, positive, flexible towards work, ability to solve problems independently and bring innovative ideas to improve the current process.
- Good accounting knowledge and analytical skills.
Qualifications
Requires higher education or specialized training/certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Commerce graduate
- 2-4 years of relevant experience required for entry to this level.
- Good understanding of accounting
- Proficient in working on Excel
- Working SAP knowledge would be a preference
- Good verbal and written communication skills
