Responsible for learning the G/FORE brand voice, assist in managing all marketing efforts and is the critical point of connection between the G/FORE golf & influencer business and the marketing strategies, ideas and materials. This is an internal and external facing role which means strong communication, collaboration and customer service skills are essential. This position uses sales, consumer, competitive, and marketplace information to develop marketing plans and allocate budgets to achieve the strongest result. This position serves as the liaison to the company's tour players and brand ambassadors. All of these tasks include being persistent and detail oriented to ensure that service promises are honored.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Place, track and follow through on orders as needed for marketing initiatives that include tour player outfitting, brand ambassador wardrobing, promotional needs, VIP outfitting and podcast outfitting. 
  • Responsible for developing and managing relationships between players, ambassadors and agents.
  • Create, develop and maintain social calendars for advertising, marketing, collateral and events; closely monitor tournament dates, communicate conflicts and resolve issues quickly.
  • Willingness to help with community management on social platforms.
  • Conceptualizing and curating content based on events, sponsorships and public relation initiatives.
  • Guide marketing strategies, plans, communication, and reporting for wholesale Golf shop & specialty accounts.
  • Work closely with brand leadership to identify opportunities and challenges; tackle tasks and ensure that business goals are met.  
  • Use exceptional verbal and written communication skills, to interface with members of several teams, such as embroidery, marketing, golf events, design and creative. 
  • Remain up to date on the golf industry, to include following competitors and their activity.
  • Work with Design, Merchandising and Store teams to understand nature and timing of product launches in order to provide the accompanying marketing materials.
  • Work with digital marketing team to develop and/or refine strong working knowledge of all types of new marketing/media such as mobile, social, native advertising, retargeting, podcasts, influencers, and more.

DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • BA/BS in Marketing or related field
  • Previous knowledge in the Golf industry
  • Proficient with order entry and management software used internally including Blue Cherry, VR Link and Softeon
  • Experienced with Microsoft Excel to be used in reporting and Adobe Acrobat to be used in editing PDFs

The hourly rate for this role is $31.25hr
