JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently seeking a Geotechnical Driller for our Fredericksburg, VA office. Ideal candidates will have experience performing geotechnical explorations and well installations using hollow stem auger and mud rotary methods. This is a physically demanding position; successful candidates must have the ability to lift 50+ pounds.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Successful candidates MUST have:
- CDL preferred but not required
- Geotechnical Drilling Experience
- OSHA training and ability to maintain rigs preferred but not required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds

Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) was incorporated in 1985 and employs more than 500 engineers, scientists, technicians, and support personnel. GTA focuses on geotechnical issues such as subsurface exploration, geotechnical and foundation engineering; groundwater resource and wastewater disposal issues; construction observation and materials testing; environmental issues from environmental assessments through management of remediation for contaminated water and soil; and natural resource services ranging from natural resource inventories to federal and state permit processing.
