At Flow, we’re redefining hospitality by blending design, community, and sustainability into every experience we create. We believe in crafting spaces that invite authentic connections, whether someone stays with us for two nights, two weeks, or two years. Our work spans hospitality, retail, food & beverage, and even our own publication, Flow Trip. We're not just about places to stay — we're about creating a sense of belonging, fostering innovation, and empowering those who share our vision for a more connected world.

As General Manager, you’ll lead the charge in creating this experience in both our Miami and Fort Lauderdale locations. Your role is to cultivate a space that feels as much like home as it does a community hub. You’ll oversee operations, nurture your team, and ensure everything flows smoothly, from the smallest detail to the larger, meaningful moments that make our spaces so special.

Responsibilities

  • Create a Thriving Team: At the heart of everything we do is our people. You’ll build, mentor, and inspire a diverse team that’s passionate about our mission. You are able to understand and be clear on goals for the operation, yourself and your team and conduct weekly 1:1s. Your leadership will guide them to not just meet but exceed expectations.
  • Champion Growth: From onboarding to ongoing development, you’ll ensure your team has the resources, training, and support they need to succeed. You’ll foster an environment of collaboration, creativity, and personal growth.
  • Cultivate a Positive Culture: You’ll set the tone for the work environment, balancing high standards with a sense of belonging and respect. Your leadership will encourage transparency, communication, and team cohesion.
  • Keep Things Flowing: You’ll oversee all day-to-day operations, making sure everything from inventory to the guest experience runs effortlessly. No detail is too small, and no task is beneath you. You’ll ensure the space is always a place that people want to be all while ensuring compliance with all federal, state and county laws and regulations
  • Drive Results: You’ll be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales, labor, and profitability goals. You will also need to build an annual budget and manage that budget on a weekly basis. You’ll use your insights and experience to optimize everything from cost control to product offerings — all while staying true to our sustainability commitments.
  • Sustainability at the Core: Every decision you make will reflect our commitment to the planet. Whether it’s managing stock or working with local vendors, you’ll ensure that we’re sourcing products and managing resources with care for the environment.
  • Create Memorable Moments: You’ll ensure every guest feels a sense of connection, whether they’re here for a few days or a few weeks. From the first hello to the final goodbye, your focus will be on crafting seamless, personalized experiences that keep people coming back.
  • Innovate with Purpose: You'll play a key role in bringing fresh ideas to life — from in-store promotions to local partnerships. Whether it’s designing a new layout or curating community events, you’ll keep the experience feeling fresh, engaging, and authentic.
  • Community Connector: Flow isn’t just about the space we create; it’s about the community we serve. You’ll build relationships with locals, collaborate with other like-minded businesses, and ensure that our space is deeply integrated into the neighborhood.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 4+ years in retail, hospitality, or grocery management. You’ve led teams, optimized operations, and built strong customer relationships.
  • Financial Know-How: You’re comfortable with P&L statements, budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls, always finding the balance between profitability and our core values.
  • Customer-Centered: You care deeply about delivering an exceptional guest experience and have the skills to inspire your team to do the same.
  • Creative Problem-Solving: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can navigate challenges with creativity and grace.
  • Community-Focused: You naturally build relationships, engage with the local scene, and understand the power of neighborhood connections.
  • Physical Requirements: You’ll be on your feet, managing inventory, lifting boxes, and staying engaged throughout the day. Flexibility is key.
