This is a hands-on role responsible for delivering high-quality domestic maintenance and general repairs across town, village, and non-process infrastructure facilities. You will be working within a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for our clients.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- General Maintenance & Cleaning: Maintain and clean various facilities, including dining halls, wet messes, entertainment areas, gyms, pools, tennis/basketball/squash courts, ablution blocks, laundries, barbecue areas, telephone rooms, and management offices. Locations include non-process infrastructure, village and select town scope.
- Water Quality & Garden Maintenance: Conduct water quality tests (e.g. water tanks, pools, potable water) and maintain garden areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness and functionality.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all equipment is safe and in good working condition, reporting any faults and advising management of any equipment needs.
- Stock Assistance: Assist with the unloading of stock deliveries, ensuring items are correctly stored and recorded.
- Maintenance Reports: Complete maintenance reports and ensure records are kept up-to-date, providing timely feedback to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Customer Service: Develop good relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction with the facilities and services provided. Monitor and maintain service quality at all times.
- Flexibility & Adaptability: Perform all duties within the specified timeframes, ensuring that essential business and customer needs are always met. Be flexible and adaptable in prioritising tasks.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental standards, and report any hazards promptly. Always project the professional image of Sodexo Remote Sites.

- Safety Awareness: Strong safety consciousness and ability to identify and address hazards in the workplace.
- Teamwork & Independence: Able to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team, showing initiative and ownership of tasks.

Qualifications
Experience & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in domestic maintenance or a similar role is preferred.
- Ability to perform general maintenance tasks and work with various tools and equipment.
- Strong commitment to safety and maintaining a clean, professional environment.
- Police clearance.
- C Class manual driver’s license.
- Good communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- A proactive, customer-focused attitude and a willingness to take ownership of tasks.
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
