About the Job:

This is an excellent opportunity to join a world class consultancy focused on their AI practice, which is a major area of focus in 2025.  Our customers include some of the world’s largest integrated energy and commodity trading companies. We are looking for a hands-on Gen AI Technologist. As a member of the Capco Technology Delivery Team, you’ll bring practical knowledge of agile development methodologies and engineering best practices. As an AI Architect, you’ll play an integral role using your experience and skills to contribute to the quality and implementation of our projects.  

What You’ll Get to Do:

• Work with a large, international energy trading firm to architect and integrate AI solutions into enterprise workflows, cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), and edge devices
• Design an industry leading AI tool that can be leveraged across all energy traded commodities
• Lead and implement prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and reinforcement learning techniques
• Work with a global team to ensure the solution can be scaled across geographies and trading desks
• Lead the design, fine-tuning, and deployment of LLMs, generative adversarial networks (GANs), and diffusion models
• Leverage existing frameworks like OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta AI, Hugging Face, and open-source alternatives
• Optimize generative AI models for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency
• Develop APIs and microservices for seamless AI integration with existing applications
• Implement MLOps best practices for CI/CD, model monitoring, and retraining strategies
• Collaborate with business leaders to identify AI-driven opportunities and define strategic roadmaps for generative AI adoption
• Provide thought leadership on AI trends, ethical AI practices, and enterprise AI governance
• Assess the feasibility and impact of AI solutions within trading industries
• Assist with end-user training and related documentation

What You’ll Bring with You:

• Strong experience with LLMs, NLP, transformers, and deep learning architectures (e.g., GPT, BERT, DALL·E, Stable Diffusion)
• Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain, and vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS)
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based AI services (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI)
• Expertise in data engineering (ETL pipelines, feature stores) and MLOps (MLflow, Kubeflow)
• Familiarity with fine-tuning techniques, transfer learning, and prompt engineering for generative AI
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science
• Management Consulting experience a plus
