Job Description

The Endava Google Cloud team is on a mission to help companies transform the way they deliver products to their customers. Working closely with the Google team, they are guiding our esteemed clients on their cloud adoption journey from strategy planning, and enterprise transformations, to exciting greenfield development. 

Role Summary  

We are seeking a passionate GCP Cloud Consultant to join our rapidly expanding globally distributed Cloud Infrastructure Team. You will serve as an infrastructure specialist in Google Cloud Platform and will work collaboratively with the team to provide technical guidance and expertise on solutions design, build, governance, security, operations and cost control best practices. 
This is a full-time position, with a hybrid working model, based at our office in Kuala Lumpur. For this reason, we are currently only considering applications from candidates based in Kuala Lumpur.

Role Responsibilities 

• Work with customers to design and build Cloud-based infrastructures and landing zones 
• Assist with the creation of Infrastructure architectures and technical documentation 
• Work with customers to design and build infrastructure modernization solutions, including migration patterns and roadmaps. 
• Present Infrastructure modernization strategy to C-level executives 
• Serve as a technical advisor and cloud infrastructure authority
• Secure cloud foundational cloud implementations 
• Automated provisioning of infrastructure and applications 
• Cloud-ready applications architecture 
• Deliver end-to-end cloud-based infrastructure management solutions 
• Enhance client’s infrastructure operations by improving monitoring, logging and observability 
• Defining and implementing cloud infrastructure governance, build and deployment standards 
• Working closely with Delivery Management team 

Qualifications

The type of competencies and skills we look for 

• IaC development (Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible, ARM, etc.) 
• Experience with virtualization: servers, storage, networks 
• Expert knowledge of Google Cloud Platform tools and platforms
• Experience with infrastructure-based processes including monitoring, capacity planning, performance tuning, disaster recovery and data centre exits
• Use of GCP Foundation Toolkit for landing zone implementations 
• Experience with Data Centre exit strategies 
• GCP Certifications are highly desired – Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Cloud Network Engineer, etc.
