We have an exciting opportunity for a Gateway Specialist to join our team, the successful candiate handles day to day operations pertaining to Ocean Import/Export Consolidations, and acts as operations account manager for the accounts in the designated Consolidations. We prioritize Import Buyers Consolidations, and knowledge of the export process is a plus.

The Opportunity

  • Handles day to day operations, for both Ocean Imports and Exports.
  • Works with the trucking companies, container freight stations and warehouses on tracking the containers, picking up from the port, devanning and delivering the shipments from the consolidations to the different customers. . 
  • Communicates daily with vendors, carriers, various service providers. 
  • Maintains cost effective job processing.
  • Travel might be required.
  • Acts promptly in reporting any emergency and environmental incidents situations.

What you'll need to succeed

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5 years in global forwarding Import with operations and customer service experience
  • Cargo Wise / AS400 system and Microsoft Programs (Word/Excel/PowerPoint
  • Results-orientated and resilient
  • Exceptional personal standards of honesty, integrity, and professionalism
  • Ability to balance & meet the expectations of the client, Toll & shareholders.

Indicative salary $60 000 to $75 000
