GaN Device Parametric Engineer - Entry Level

The Device Parametric Engineer is responsible for sustaining and improving the parametric test (PCM) operation in a high volume compound semiconductor manufacturing facility. The engineer supports development activities, new product introduction (NPI) test setup, tool matching, test program debug, and improving tester availability and utilization.

Job expectations:

• Sustain and drive improvements to Class Probe operation
• Develop and debug test measurements
• Manage New Part Introduction (NPI)
• Develop and maintain specifications, standard work documents, FMEA, etc.
• Participate in and/or lead cross-functional problem solving teams
• Train process technicians to disposition wafers in out of control situations
• Train wafer fab operators in prober/tester operation using standard work processes

Job qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder due to export controlled technology
• B.S. or higher in an engineering discipline
• Solid understanding of semiconductor device manufacturing and operation
• Ability to self-motivate - take initiative and prioritize work effectively
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong coding skills highly preferred
• Desire to create a positive, world class working environment
