The Device Parametric Engineer is responsible for sustaining and improving the parametric test (PCM) operation in a high volume compound semiconductor manufacturing facility. The engineer supports development activities, new product introduction (NPI) test setup, tool matching, test program debug, and improving tester availability and utilization.
Job expectations:
- Sustain and drive improvements to Class Probe operation
- Develop and debug test measurements
- Manage New Part Introduction (NPI)
- Develop and maintain specifications, standard work documents, FMEA, etc.
- Participate in and/or lead cross-functional problem solving teams
- Train process technicians to disposition wafers in out of control situations
- Train wafer fab operators in prober/tester operation using standard work processes
Job qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder due to export controlled technology
- B.S. or higher in an engineering discipline
- Solid understanding of semiconductor device manufacturing and operation
- Ability to self-motivate - take initiative and prioritize work effectively
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong coding skills highly preferred
- Desire to create a positive, world class working environment
