Your roles and responsibilities

  • Conceptualize new Brain Training exercises and improve existing ones in order to make the NeuroNation training as effective and engaging as possible, as part of a team of experts in cognitive training and software engineers
  • Define logical and visual mechanics of new exercises
  • Carefully and precisely configure individuals parameters of levels and exercises to ensure engagement and usability
  • Come up with creative ideas for features, inspired from other apps and games as well as from your first-hand experience as a gamer
  • Apply User Research and Usability Testing to learn how we can best help users and patients, and define useful features and visual concepts
  • Analyse data continuously collected from users to drive optimal decisions in exercise development
  • Be your own user in a product you can be proud of
  • Live with a Growth mindset, constantly look for learning opportunities for yourself and the team
  • Work closely with colleagues from Product Management, Science, Business Intelligence, Customer Care


Who you are and what you have done

  • You have at least 3 years of full time work experience in Game Design or similar, where you've created new games or game features and you've defined levels
  • You are located in Berlin / Brandenburg (or are ready to relocate from a country in the EU), so that we can meet regularly in the office in Berlin
  • You have deep personal interests in BRAIN TRAINING, GAMES, and SELF-IMPROVEMENT
  • You have a good sense of aesthetics, design, animations, colors and an eye for details
  • You are personally interested in SCIENCE, passionate about diving deep into scientific research details
  • You are a passionate learner
  • You have personal experience as a user of digital health, education, or productivity apps
  • You have solid professional English language skills
  • You have strong problem-solving skills
  • You are well-organised. You can multi-task and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • You are a team-player and love to help out your colleagues.
