How do we work?

FX & CFD Sales Executive is responsible for onboarding, educating, and empowering our clients in the early part of their trading journey with a world class FX & CFD broker.

You can join us in Toronto or New York, or Chicago.

In this role you will:

  • Call and email new OANDA clients.

  • Meet or exceed client conversion targets.

  • Handle 100+ outgoing calls per day to warm leads as well as handle incoming inquiries via phone, email and SMS, as well as occasionally face-to-face in the office or event places.

  • Answer client questions concerning OANDA’s products and services.

  • Document all client communications in Salesforce®.

  • Provide support for existing customers with all aspects of the trading experience, informing them of educational opportunities, market moving events, and platform walkthroughs.

  • Attend and contribute to sales meetings.

  • Work to company policies, processes, procedures, and standards.

  • Obtain Series 3 and 34 licenses with the NFA within the first few months of employment to successfully complete the probationary period. OANDA will provide all necessary learning materials.

What skillset do you need to be successful in this role?

  • Minimum of 3 years of phone-based sales experience, with prior experience working with high call volumes.

  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.

  • Excellent English written, and oral communication skills are mandatory.

  • Review and Reporting: Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to review and create relevant, lucid and effective reports.

  • Pre-Call Preparation: Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to carefully prepare for client interactions using established frameworks. Identifies all buyers affecting the sale, plans actions to mitigate uncertainty, leverages strengths, identifies missing information, gains relevant commitment, prepares compelling value propositions.

  • Passion for the markets: Is self driven to understand the forex and cryptocurrency markets with the ability to intelligently articulate financial and market-related concepts.

  • Adapts Quickly to Changing Priorities: Demonstrates agility and flexibility, effectively managing shifting priorities and adapting to evolving demands in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrates Uncompromising Ethical Conduct: Adheres to the highest standards of integrity and professionalism, consistently acting in accordance with ethical principles and organizational policies.

Nice to have:

  • Demonstrated desire and willingness to continually upgrade skills and training with regards to financial markets, combined with an interest in international events.

  • Experience with Salesforce®

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Passionate about the Finance sector and the FX & CFD markets.
