We are looking for an experienced Functional Architect to join our team!
What is the purpose/mission of the position?
As a Technical Architect in our organization, your primary mission will be to collaborate with various teams to define insurance business logic and apply governance processes and principles. You will design standard APIs for different functional domains, such as quotation, new business, post-sales, claims, billing and collection, people, commissions, agents' management, reinsurance, coinsurance, and renewals.
What you are going to do?

In-depth understanding of insurance industry concepts, products, claims, underwriting, and policy administration.

Perform ETL process to extract data from source systems, transform it according to migration requirements, and load it into the target system.

Develop and implement data cleansing, normalization, and transformation rules to ensure data consistency and quality.

Conduct data quality checks, validation, and error handling to maintain data accuracy before, during, and after migration.

Work with IT teams, database administrator, and business units to understand data requirements and migration objectives.

Achieve a seamless migration that minimizes disruption and maximizes data usability in the new system.

Monitor data performance and provide ongoing support to address any post-migration issues.

Document each phase of the migration process, including data mappings, transformations, and quality checks.

Produce and enforce development standards and technical standards
What are the skills that we look for?

Strong technical proficiency to comprehend current system architecture, data structures, and integration points.

Proficiency in using ETL tools and other migration solutions

Skilled in meticulous data analysis and migration, ensuring data integrity during transition.

Experience developing and leading technology engagement.

Advanced knowledge of SQL.

An excellent understanding of best practices across technologies (client/server-side, QA, security by design, etc.).

Excellent time management, problem solving, teamwork, and communication skills.

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software against aggressive schedules
