What does your job as a Functional Analyst look like?
As a Functional Analyst, you will be part of the One Orange Team, a collaboration between NN and ING aimed at becoming the fastest-growing digital insurance franchise in Belgium. You will work alongside a team of approximately 50 enthusiastic professionals who develop solutions for life and non-life insurance, as well as investments. The team builds interactive IT systems and processes on top of the digital platform and manages the Roadmap & Strategy for the majority of the assets of the Investment Tribe. You will be part of the NN family but work in a hybrid manner from either the ING office or remotely.
-
You play a crucial role in bridging the gap between the business and IT worlds. You focus on implementing complex digital changes, taking a holistic approach by relying on your knowledge of both the investment business and the best IT implementation practices.
-
You define and coordinate Roadmaps between squads, both within the same tribe and externally, and thoroughly manage the (inter-)dependencies. You maintain and improve systems and processes for both employees and customers to enable a seamless experience across all channels.
-
Together with the Technical Analyst, you ensure the planning, reporting, coordination, and management of IT delivery interdependencies. You manage the scope and complexity of features and stories during refinement and planning, and ensure reporting and follow-up during execution.
-
You identify and manage risks and potential issues, striving for improvements across teams. In collaboration with key stakeholders, you manage the priority of features with a strong focus on the Minimum Viable Product (MVP). You also lay the groundwork for a functional qualitative testing approach and, if necessary, assist the testing team in defining test scenarios and their execution.
