We are also increasingly working in a "composable" mode, integrating multiple specific components to provide a "best fit" solution for our clients. Therefore, we are looking for a Functional Analyst e-commerce, specifically to strengthen our team on Shopify and composable solutions.
Job Description
As a Functional Consultant, you are responsible for analysing the different business requirements and define how these can be implemented in the e-commerce solution.
In case of Shopify this will be a combination of : platform configuration, selection of specific additional apps in the Shopify ecosystem and development of customer specific needs.
You work closely with the client, the internal team, and other stakeholders to ensure that the software meets the client's requirements and expectations. You play a crucial role in the implementation process of their software and ensure that clients get the most out of their specialized solutions.

Assessing challenges and needs of clients through workshops and translating these into User Stories.

Translating the business requirements into a business case, describing As-Is vs. To-Be and providing a Fit-Gap analysis.

Using the full (Shopify) ecosystem in collaboration with an architect to develop technically suitable solutions.

Offering customer guidance in choosing and proposing the most suitable solution to aid their commerce activities.

Configuring the platform and documenting functional specifications for custom development elements.

Responsible for training clients and creating test scenarios.

Working within an agile project methodology as a liaison between the client and internal team members.

Testing and validating the proposed solutions and their functionalities.

Assisting in the go-live of validated solutions.

Providing knowledge sharing and expertise to the internal team of consultants.
Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent through experience

2 to 5 years Experience as an e-commerce business or functional Analyst.

Strong analytical skills.

Excellent communication skills.

Strong interest in IT and technology in general

Interest in SaaS software development and implementation processes.

Team player with the ability to work independently.

Fluent in Dutch and English, French is a plus
