The Data Quality and Governance Solutions team designs and delivers master and reference data management (MDM/RDM) solutions for Desjardins Group’s business sectors. As a Functional Analyst, Data Management, you actively participate in developing highly complex, large-scale business solutions. You’re comfortable making strategic decisions and are accountable for them. You lead and serve as a specialist for the continuous delivery, maintenance and updating of solutions. As part of this dynamic team, you serve as a functional analyst for data management solutions, mainly with the EBX platform and Java tools. By implementing data management solutions that support Desjardins’s mission, you contribute to initiatives that are strategically important for Desjardins and our members, including digital transformation. You demonstrate how your ideas could be beneficial to the various areas of expertise within a cooperative financial group. You work with diverse business and IT teams. You propose and defend innovative, modern solutions to help Desjardins speed up the digitalization of its business operations. You use an agile-at-scale approach and adhere to SAFe methodology. More specifically, you will be required to:

Provide the team with guidance on the analysis of business solutions and help them improve their delivery times

Collaborate, as a specialist, on the feasibility or detailed design of the solution

Cocreate with business partners to define needs and manage backlogs
-
Work with the product owner and project team to define functional specifications and exceptions

Advise and guide the development team and product owner by recommending different functional alternatives aligned with the architecture

Help define and guide scopes (stories, releases, sprints, projects, tests)

Work with the architect to develop functional testing strategies
-
Define, guide and oversee the execution of automated and/or manual tests within your scope (specific cases/exceptions), with a focus on the end-to-end process

Monitor development technologies and practices and serve as a mentor for the development team in terms of technology and methods.

What you bring to the table

Bachelor's degree in a related field

A minimum of six years of relevant experience in needs assessment, document writing and functional documentation

Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

Knowledge of French is required

Proficiency in SQL requests

Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM)

Knowledge of Jira, XRay and Confluence
