Employment Type: Full-time
About Our Client
Our client is on a mission to revolutionize healthcare operations through intelligent automation and data-driven insights. If you're passionate about healthcare and excited to build tools that make a real-world impact, they’d love to meet you.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Flow Engineer who thrives at the intersection of backend architecture, intelligent workflows, and user-centric data visualization. This role will be instrumental in shaping how data moves through our system and how users interact with complex healthcare operations through intuitive interfaces and reports.
You’ll collaborate with product, design, and data teams to build and optimize workflows, create dynamic reports, and surface insights to users in a clean, actionable way. If you enjoy building reliable systems that bridge data and experience — and you’re excited about working in healthcare and AI — this is the role for you.
What You’ll Do
-
Architect, build, and maintain flow-based features in our platform using Ruby on Rails and React
-
Design and implement data visualizations, interactive reports, and intelligent automations
-
Collaborate with designers and product managers to turn complex data into actionable insights for users
-
Work closely with AI and data teams to integrate machine learning-driven features into user-facing flows
-
Ensure reliability and performance of backend systems that support workflow logic and reporting

Contribute to team best practices, code quality, and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
-
Strong proficiency with Ruby on Rails for building scalable backend systems
-
Hands-on experience with React for front-end development and dynamic user interfaces
-
A thoughtful approach to workflow design — understanding how users engage with systems and how data should move through them
-
Experience creating data visualizations, reports, or dashboards for real-time and historical analysis
-
Familiarity with AI concepts or experience working alongside data science or ML teams is a plus
-
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate technical complexity into intuitive, user-focused solutions
-
A collaborative mindset and clear communication skills, especially in a remote-first environment
Bonus Points
-
Experience in healthcare, healthtech, or enterprise SaaS platforms
-
Background in building internal tooling or workflow automation products
-
Familiarity with tools like D3.js, Chart.js, or other JS data viz libraries
Why Join our Client
-
Mission-driven team focused on improving patient care and provider operations
-
Opportunity to shape a growing product from the ground up
-
Fully remote with flexible work hours
-
Collaborative, kind, and fast-moving team culture
-
