Playtech‘s Marketplace and Engagement Games Product Team is looking for a detail-oriented Fullstack Developer with excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Job Description

Your influential mission. You will...

• Contribute to the full stack development and evolution of web applications using JavaScript technologies, including React, Redux, ES6+ on the front-end, and Node.js, Express, or similar on the back-end.
• Develop and maintain both client-facing and server-side applications, ensuring seamless integration and communication between front-end and back-end systems.
• Write high-quality, scalable code for web applications, focusing on excellent user experience, performance, and back-end efficiency.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including designing database architectures, creating RESTful APIs, and integrating third-party services, alongside front-end feature development.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications, optimizing for security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Help refine internal development processes, from requirements gathering to design and implementation of both front-end and back-end components, all the way to production deployment and support.

Qualifications

• Have strong proven experience in building customer-facing web applications.
• Posses a solid working knowledge of core web technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3.
• Understand responsive web design, JavaScript object model, and DOM manipulation at a high level.
• Have deep familiarity with JavaScript and its ecosystem, using it alongside client-side technologies to create fast, responsive applications.
• Show solid proficiency in the React technological stack.
• Have a good grasp of NodeJS and its core principles.
• Are experienced in developing REST APIs using JavaScript (ES6+) or TypeScript.
• Have a working knowledge of non-relational data stores like MongoDB and Redis.
• Feel comfortable working across the stack, understanding the interplay between front-end, middleware, and backend, and their impact on application performance.
• Approach problems with an engineering mindset, solving them with elegant, simple solutions, and demonstrating attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
• Communicate enthusiastically, clearly, and concisely with both technical and non-technical staff.
• Have knowledge and experience of working within TDD/BDD processes.
• Utilize Git proficiently.
• Have very strong attention to detail and ability to deliver visuals tightly matching specifications.

You'll get extra points for...

• Knowledge or previous experience with TypeScript.
• Familiarity with the BEM, OOCSS or SMACSS approaches.

Marketplace & Engagement Games Product Team
Our team is dedicated to two of Playtech's products - Marketplace, a platform for managing casino content, and Engagement Games - a promotional tool for creating and monitoring real-time gaming campaigns. Both products are stable and well-established, with Engagement games offering seamless integration and customization for engaging player campaigns. Marketplace simplifies the management of casino content, providing tools to access marketing assets and manage game certificates. We thrive in a friendly and collaborative environment, engaging in full-stack development using JavaScript technologies like React, Redux, ES6+, and Node.js. Some of our responsibilities include maintaining client-facing and server-side applications, writing high-quality, scalable code, participating in the software development lifecycle, collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth deployments, and refining internal processes.
