Duda is looking for a talented, hands-on Full Stack Team Leader to join our amazing R&D department in Israel. This is a unique opportunity to join a successful, dynamic team of professionals and work with cutting edge technologies.

As a Team Leader at Duda, you will have the autonomy and authority to lead your team through the product life cycle. You’ll be responsible for the design and development of our industry-leading product and build our next generation website-building platform, used by millions of people around the world!


As Team Leader, you will: 

  • Lead a team of developers in a multifunctional Squad through the product life cycle - architecture, design, development, quality and production.
  • Hands-on development 50% of your time.
  • Work closely with the squad's Product Manager on developing and refining your squad’s vision, strategy, product roadmap and define KPIs to measure performance and identify areas for optimization.
  • Play a key role in building a large-scale micro-frontends and SSR architectures
  • Grow, coach and become a personal & technical mentor for the team members.
  • Recruit and mentor new team members.
  • Play a key role in Duda’s R&D strategy and Engineering Guild.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience as a software developer - Must. 
  • 2+ years of experience as a team leader - Must. 
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with React - Must.
  • Proficient in JavaScript/Typescript: Deep understanding of ES6+ features, asynchronous programming, build tools & bundlers and JavaScript best practices - Must.
  • Strong Knowledge of web technologies: Flexbox, CSS Grid, Semantic HTML, responsive design and modern browser APIs such as Intersection Observer, Fetch API, WebSockets, Web Storage etc.
  • Experience with a leading backend language - preferably Java.
  • A team player with strong people skills.
  • Familiarity with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, JPA, REST APIs, AWS - an advantage.
  • Experience working with microservices or serverless oriented architecture - an advantage.
  • Familiarity with public clouds and CI/CD practices for building, testing and deploying applications.
  • BSc in Computer Science or equivalent.
