Title: Full Stack Software Engineer - P3

Reports To: Head of UK Operations
The Role:
Mid to Senior Level Full Stack Developer with experience using Python, Spark, .NET, SQL and of distributed computing and scale-out architecture. This role will primarily involve working in the Palantir environment to develop data pipelines and front end applications in a cross functional team of developers and data scientists but other technologies such as SQL will be utilised and opportunities to explore the application of AI solutions within this environment will also abound

Also, offers the opportunity to participate in developing and enhancing the Palantir platform itself and experiment with AI solutions with rich, relevant data
What You'll Be Doing in This Role:
This role gives the candidate the opportunity to:
- Work with large, complex data sets in order to design, implement, and maintain robust data pipelines using Python, Spark, .NET, SQL and other related technologies.
- Demonstrate leadership in developing designs solutions that refine the treatment and output of this information to suit Clients requirements
- Collaborating with a broad team to plan for long-term success with regular client deliverables and presenting your solutions and findings to stakeholders.
- It will require working in a team to mutually test and verify your implementations functionality and fulfillment of requirements.
- Use automation and CI/CD tooling to support resilient deployments.
- Self-govern your use of best practices and conventions, then peer review with your colleagues. Document your work and decisions.
- It will require a high level of autonomy and responsibility for timely and accurate delivery of our solutions to the clients.
Qualifications of this Role:
- Computer Science (or related) educational background to Degree or Masters level
- 5 or more years of experience in Software development
- Extensive experience with data engineering fundamentals, ingesting data, designing efficient and practical data schemas, etc
- Experience in distributed computing and scale-out architecture
- Experience building and delivering software or web-based applications to end users
- Experience with Python, PySpark, SQL, C#, .NET, Typescript. Not afraid to pick up and learn something new in a short amount of time.
- Experience of Agile working processes and GIT/Source control
- Automotive data and domain knowledge is desirable, but not essential
- Able to travel as needed to meet with customers, colleagues, and business partners
