Van Metre Companies is seeking a Full Stack .NET Developer to join the Software Development team with our New Homes Division!
Job Description

While you'll be assuming a full stack role, your primary focus will be on the .NET backend that powers our customer-facing tools.
- Backend Tech Stack: Microsoft Azure, C# .NET, EF Core, MSSQL.
- Frontend Tech Stack: NodeJS, React, TypeScript.
This is a hybrid position that will require 1-2 days/week in office in Ashburn, VA.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver Value-Driven Solutions: design, develop, test, and maintain web and mobile applications with a clear focus on business impact.

- Provide Technical Expertise: Offer insights and support to business users, ensuring our solutions are robust, secure and high-quality.

- Honor Craftsmanship: Show an appreciation for detail and pride in building high-quality software tools.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong foundation in C#, .NET, SQL and REST API development.
- Familiarity with MVC, OOP, RDBMS and API design principles.
- Track record of building clean, maintainable and scalable code.
Additional Preferences
- GitHub (or equivalent) that shows off your passion and professionalism in software development.
- Experience with various React libraries, Docker, Swift (iOS), .NET libraries (EF Core, etc.), Azure or AWS integrations.
- Exposure to application-level security best practices.
- DevOps and CI/CD integrations are a big plus.
- Strong passion for exploring and applying new things. We encourage continual learning and experimentation!
Compensation and Benefits information: Van Metre offers excellent benefits, and a work environment that fosters and rewards excellence. - Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 annually (Pay is commensurate with experience, education, training, and skills)
