Position Summary:
Avathon’s Renewable Suite is the world's leading AI enabled SaaS platform that provides asset performance management and prescriptive analytics software to ever growing renewable energy power plants by combining the power of machine learning, big data, and deep domain expertise. Our platform works across multiple asset types such as wind, solar, storage and DC coupled assets to offer insights to our customers across their fleets. As a Full Stack Engineer you will be working closely with team members across domains with deep technical skills and passion for clean energy.
Join us in:
- Building Asset Management and Predictive Analytics platform for industrial systems
- Architecting and managing Terabyte/Petabyte scale data analytics offerings
- Work closely with delivery engineering team for successful hand-off of self serve SaaS applications
- Contributing ideas to overall product strategy and roadmap.
- Improving the codebase with continuous refactoring extending the platform for multiple industries
- Working on multiple projects simultaneously and taking products from prototype to production.
- Collaborating with team members in Austin, TX and SF Bay Area, CA to lead 24x7 product development.
You’ll have:
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related field. Strong CS foundation with knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Atleast 4+ years of experience building & deploying full stack applications. Startup experience a plus
- Experience with React/Redux, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Python, Django, and REST API’s.
- Experience with visualization tools or libraries like Highcharts, ag-grid dealing with large volumes of data and charts
- Experience with GIT, CI/CD tools, Sentry, Atlassian software
It would be great if you had:
- Experience in IoT time series data or DB’s such as Elasticsearch, Big Query, Big Table
- Experience in large scale B2B data management and SaaS applications
- Experience with Typescript and TailwindCSS
- Experience working with serverless architecture and cloud-native tools, particularly AWS or GCP
