The Role:

BrandCycle is looking to hire a Full-Stack Engineer for a 100% remote position. This individual will be a key member of our development team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both the front-end and back-end components of our web applications. You will work closely with our product team to discover solutions and deliver high-quality, user-centric features that shape the future of our platform.

Must be U.S. based.

Types of Work You'll Do:

  • In partnership with product management you will participate in product discovery, test assumptions with users, and prototype solutions.
  • As a key member of the product team you will design solutions primarily for the back-end, but also partner with front-end engineers to complete final integrations.
  • You will own and maintain secure backend services that seamlessly integrate with our UI, while fostering an inclusive and collaborative team culture.
  • You’ll deliver impact through robust and scalable code that articulates business rules primarily in PHP and SQL.
  • Your work will often involve data modeling and query optimization to ensure efficient and secure data handling. 

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience 
  • Minimum of 4 years work experience developing back-end solutions and services
  • Experience working as a part of a team of other engineers
  • Proficiency in server-side programming languages (PHP)
  • Strong knowledge of databases and database management systems (SQL and NoSQL).
  • Experience in frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue. Our primary application is in React.
  • The ability to learn our existing software stack, and learn as we grow.

Big pluses:

  • Experience with Drupal 9+
  • Experience with data warehouse technologies, event based architectures, and creating customer facing reports out of large volumes of data.

Compensation:

Our overall compensation and rewards package includes base pay, bonus or commission, and a variety of benefits. Base pay is determined within a range that allows you the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.  The anticipated annualized salary range for this role is $105,000 - $125,000  (this range may be modified in the future based on changing market conditions).  Your initial base pay will be determined based on several factors, including demonstrated skills, relevant education or training, experience, qualifications, travel requirements, and job location.
