Full Stack Developer

Location: Los Angeles, California (on-site)

We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Developer who is comfortable with both front and back end programming. They will be responsible for developing and designing front end web architecture, ensuring the responsiveness of applications, and working alongside graphic designers for web design features, among other duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Being part of the complete software development process from conception to deployment
• Maintaining and upgrading the software in Production.
• Managing the end-to-end life cycle for the production of software and applications
• Designing, writing, building, testing and deploying software
• Being involved with the automated testing and providing feedback to management during the development process
• Modifying and testing changes to previously developed code/systems.
• Developing front-end website architecture and user interactions 
• Developing back-end services and APIs
• Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones (mobile web)
• Ensuring responsiveness of applications
• Working alongside graphic designers for web design features
• Seeing through a project from conception to finished product
• Meeting both technical and consumer needs
• Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages

Successful Candidates Will Possess:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience 
• MUST have strong React/NextJS skills
• React Native skills is a plus
• Front-end technology: Expertise in front-end technologies, including JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5 and third-party libraries - primarily React and NextJs although Angular & jQuery might be useful
• Familiarity with Paas-based cloud software development and services such as Vercel, AWS, PlanetScale, MongoDB cloud etc. You don’t need to be familiar with every service we are using but in general to have already operated in this kind of environment. 
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Postgres, and MongoDB
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Good problem-solving skills & attention to detail
• Development languages: Knowledge of server-side programming languages including Rust and Python Golang are a plus for miscellaneous internal projects
• Database and caching: Familiarity with DBMS technology, including SQLServer MongoDB and MySQL and caching mechanisms such as Redis, Memcached and Varnish
• Basic design ability: Including knowledge of UI/UX and basic prototype design 
• Server: Experience working with Nginx or Apache servers with a solid background in Linux is a plus - ability to troubleshoot performance issues
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Ability to visualize a proposed system and be able to build it

Salary Range: The salary target for this role is $130,000 - $150,000. Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and most recent market data. This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on personal and company performance, in addition to our robust benefits package. The final candidate hired may potentially have less or more experience than originally posted as per job description, and if this happens, an updated salary range may be used for final hiring package.
