We’re seeking a Full-Stack Developer to join our team supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The ideal candidate is a technology generalist who enjoys working in a customer facing role and has demonstrated experience designing, building, delivering, and maintaining enterprise software solutions. This role is dynamic and requires the ability to adapt to evolving challenges and responsibilities. This is a remote position.
In this position, you can expect to:
- Create web-based software solutions that span a range of problems and domains including data visualization, cloud-based infrastructure management, and various types of automation.
- Collaboratively engage with BridgePhase team members and government stakeholders to iteratively discover and refine goals and system requirements.
- Work autonomously to research optimal solutions, implement best practices, and deliver capabilities.
- Leverage a broad range of technologies spanning a full enterprise stack including cloud, platform, CI/CD, UI/UX, backend/APIs, databases, and analytics. Some technologies that you could potentially work with are: AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, GitLab, Java, React, PostgreSQL, PowerBI, Python, Open Policy Agent, and Terraform.
- Implement and maintain data visualization dashboards.
- Create and maintain documentation.
As with any technical environment, the exact role responsibilities will evolve with the changing needs of our client. We are looking for versatile engineers who thrive on new challenges and can readily adapt to additional responsibilities beyond those listed above.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience creating data visualization dashboards with Microsoft Power BI
- Existing DHS clearance is a major plus
- Experience working with a cloud service provider such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code best practices and tools such as Terraform
- Experience with data modeling and data analysis techniques
