POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and experienced Full Stack Developer with a strong track record of building robust backend systems and delivering seamless, end-to-end solutions using modern web frameworks for full-stack application development. Experience with data platforms, data pipelines, and modern data architectures is a strong plus, enabling them to contribute to building an end-to-end data-driven web application.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and implement full-stack web applications and plugins that make up the backbone of our decisioning and analysis processes
- Develop and maintain data pipelines for ingesting and transforming data in the data lake to support data-driven applications
- Enhance web application user experience through contemporary UX methods
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to establish project goals, gather research requirements, and pioneer innovative solutions
- Remain current with the latest developments in generative AI and related fields
- Develop and maintain clear and concise documentation for application design, processes, and results
- Articulate complex concepts and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Provide support, guidance, and mentorship to other team members, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 2–4+ years of experience in full-stack development, preferably in technology, financial services, or consulting
- Proven experience as a developer, preferably with a strong portfolio of successful projects
- Demonstrable capabilities in full-stack web application development, with proficiency in at least one modern front-end framework (React, Svelte, Vue, Angular, or Solid) or one full-stack meta-framework (Next.js, SvelteKit, Remix, or SolidStart).
- Experience working with backend systems and mainstream databases (Postgres, MySQL) or managed solutions (Supabase, Planetscale).
- Experience developing data pipelines (e.g. Dagster, Airflow) and working with modern data lakes (e.g. Iceberg, Delta Lake)
- Bonus: Experience with cloud computing platforms, preferably AWS, including deployment and monitoring best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions
- Adaptable and dedicated to staying current with emerging technologies and engineering best practices
- 4 days in office (hybrid work arrangement)
