What we are looking for - Paper Street Media, LLC is hiring for a Full-time Full Stack Developer. The primary role of the Full Stack Developer is to take complete, end-to-end ownership in all stages of web development. Along with building products across the stack and a firm understanding of web frameworks, databases, and multiple back-end languages.

What you’ll be doing:
- Develop new features and infrastructure development in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements.
- Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful application design.
- Monitor and improve the resource usage and overall performance of the sites.
- Analyze product requirements and translate them to design specifications.
- Work with agile development methodologies, adhere to best practices, and pursue continued learning opportunities.
- Assume leadership of new projects from conceptualization to deployment.
- Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment.
- Engage with inspiring designers and front end engineers, and collaborate with leading back end engineers as we create reliable APIs.
- Architect and provide guidance on building end-to-end systems optimized for speed and scale.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Must haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering.
- 3+ years of experience building large-scale software applications.
- Experience building web applications.
- Good knowledge of PHP, OOP, data structures, and design patterns.
- Knowledge of Laravel, Symphony or similars PHP frameworks.
- Good knowledge of front end technologies and concepts.
- Knowledge of Ruby, Java/JRuby, React, and Javascript.
- Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
- Good programming background with ES6+
- Experience with node.js and server-side rendering concepts.
- Excellent understanding of principles and clean coding standards and testing methodologies.
- Experience with various web-related technologies.
- Experience with large-scale web properties, server cluster management, and scalable infrastructures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good team player.
