Position Overview
EpicMetry is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in crafting and maintaining robust web applications. Your focus on full stack development using Node.js, and React coupled with AWS and MongoDB expertise, ensures our applications are performant and secure. Collaborating closely with frontend teams, you'll seamlessly integrate user interfaces while staying attuned to industry trends. Your role is critical in shaping our technological landscape, driving innovation, and delivering excellence in our projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable web applications using modern web technologies.
- Design and implement backend services using Node.js, Nest.js, and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in web development.
Qualification and Skills
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
- Proficiency in Node.js, Nest.js, and TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of AWS services and deployment strategies.
- Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
