Role Overview
We are looking for a Frontend Founding Engineer to join the founding team and play a key role in shaping the web platform. As one of the first engineers, you'll work directly with the founders in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. You'll help define the future of AI-powered development tools and contribute to the platform’s growth and success.
Deliverables
- Help build and improve the core web platform, ensuring it is user-friendly, scalable, and aligned with the product’s vision.
- Develop real-time collaborative features that enable multiple users to design and build apps together.
- Create intuitive UI components and workflows that allow non-technical users to easily create and deploy applications.
- Collaborate on defining the best frontend architecture to support AI-driven development and future platform expansions.
- Lead efforts to extend the platform to support full-stack development, including backend services and data management.
- Develop AI interaction patterns, such as enabling real-time UI element manipulation for context, which improves AI-generated design decisions.
- Lay the foundation for real-time collaboration, ensuring smooth multi-user interactions.
About You
- At least 4 years of experience in frontend development, with deep expertise in React and TypeScript
- Proven experience in shipping user-focused products
- Comfortable working in a rapid iteration environment where ambiguity and change are common
- Passionate about AI’s potential to transform software development
Nice To Have
- Background as a design engineer, with a strong eye for product quality and user experience
- Familiarity with AI/LLM tools in development
- Knowledge of Elixir/Phoenix (training available if needed)
