We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Front-end Engineer to join our tech team. As a Engineer at swipejobs, you will play a crucial role in building and enhancing our innovative market leading web applications.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the product team to understand project requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient front end development
- Develop new user-facing features and components using TypeScript and React.js
- Optimise application performance and ensure high responsiveness
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure best practices
- Work closely with the UI/UX designers to implement visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces
Experience:
- Australian market experience in an extremely fast-paced and extreme agile environment
- Hands-on development expertise with JavaScript, HTML5, React, Angular and any CSS preprocessor like SCSS or LESS
- Advance understanding of TypeScript & React.js
- Good working knowledge of Micro Frontends
- Knowledge of source control systems, GIT preferred
- Experienced with TDD and writing test cases
- Integration with RESTful APIs
