Job Description

Description summary:

The Frontend Developer is also responsible for the accurate and timeous creation & distribution of our e-newsletters as well as website maintenance as and when required. This is across multiple clients.

Requirements:

  • Develop, test and deploy mailers
  • Upload data
  • Pull reports when needed
  • BAU updates/content management
  • Keeping track of internal and sometimes client processes
  • Work on Jira directly to see what needs to be updated, find proper process with the team, working directly with client.
  • Communications with Everlytic – template builds, updates to templates, data issues
  • Communication with D365
  • Always look for opportunities, whether new platforms or new techniques, to enhance and improve the digital magazine experience
  • Development of all newsletters
  • Ensuring that newsletters work effectively and are error free across all browsers and devices
  • Final testing and distribution of e-newsletters to the correct client databases
  • Development and maintenance of website pages and interactive elements as and when required
  • Send out SMSs to the correct client database as required

Qualifications

Qualification required:

  • A web development degree or diploma
  • At least 2 years’ experience

Technical skills:

  • Basic understanding on Responsive Design
  • HTML5, Flash/Adobe Edge Animate/Hype, WordPress
  • Strong XTHML/CSS and JavaScript skills
  • Experience using Html5/CSS3 and responsive design
  • Mobile web development experience
  • Can code emailers and banners as well as build and maintain existing apps.
  • Must know his/her way around Adobe
  • Must be experienced with photoshop and be able to work to pixel perfect designs
  • Must work to best practices in development and coding standards
  • Must have the ability to work on multiple projects to tight deadlines
  • Must be able to work well in a team and also recommend best practices and new ideas
  • Must be motivated to continue learning, researching and implement new technologies.
