What First Digital is looking for?
We are looking for a Software Engineer that’s passionate about the latest technology and building best-in-class products, in a team setting. We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, able to work within the product team and interact with other departments with little oversight.
Responsibilities

Develop quality software, build innovative solutions capable of delivering excellent user experience for financial custody and settlements.

Work with team to develop enhancements and major features to support product vision, contribute to new services to retain existing clients and attract new customers.

Refactor code to fix system issues and improve performance, contribute to maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.

Meet team’s definition of done (meet acceptance criteria, pass code review, implement tests, etc.).

Actively participate in requirements design and refinement process.

Assist DevOps team and stakeholders prepare for smooth releases.
Requirements
- Must have expert-level Angular mastery, including technical design, implementation, and ability to bob and weave between usage of different advanced Angular concepts. 7+ years of experience with modern TypeScript frameworks (Angular, React, etc.). Candidates with less experience will be considered for an intermediate position.

Excellent at analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Familiar with Agile principles and values.

Experience working with version control (Git) and other basic development tools.

Experience working with REST APIs.

Experience with modern CSS and component libraries (Bootstrap, Material, etc.).
Nice to Have

Experience working in a startup / fintech.

Experience working in a Scrum Team.

Experience with automated testing (Jasmine, Karma).

Familiar with responsive design, i.e. mobile first.

Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Familiar with CI/CD (Github Actions, etc.) and cloud computing (AWS).

Domain knowledge in virtual assets or finance (DeFi, NFTs, payments, wealth management).
