Subvrsive is an immersive innovation studio at the forefront of emerging technologies, such as Mixed Reality (MR), Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and more. Founded in 2015, the Austin-based studio has rapidly evolved into a trusted partner for leading global brands and agencies, delivering cutting-edge solutions that drive engagement, innovation, and measurable results.
As a Senior Producer, you will develop and oversee project plans for industry-leading immersive content studio. You’ll be responsible for a number of tasks centered around project management, client relationship maintenance, cross-departmental team collaboration and immersive strategy. You will support our product and strategy team in the timely, process-driven delivery of multiple and simultaneous project deliverables while delivering exceptional client service. You will use your extensive background and experience to deliver flawless, high-value projects on budget and on time and work with every aspect of our studio and its processes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the optimization and expansion of an existing engaging and instructional VR/XR experience, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to client specifications.
- Facilitate the discovery and definition of an expansion of the VR platform to support multiplayer/crossplatform (tablet) gameplay, based on client & user expectations, eventually leading into development, QA and delivery.
- Manage and lead a team of Product Managers, Creatives,Developers, QA and other key personnel to coordinate cross-functional activities and ensure efficient project execution.
- Collaborate closely with the client to understand their engagement goals and objectives, translating them into actionable project plans and strategies. Collaborate with clients to understand and translate business needs into actionable project plans and strategies.
- Proactively identify and resolve complex project issues, escalating critical concerns to senior management and the client as needed.
- Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports.
- Provide regular feedback and performance evaluations to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
- Manage vendor and third-party relationships, ensuring they meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing contingency plans to minimize potential disruptions.
- Ensure rigorous quality assurance (QA) processes are implemented throughout the project lifecycle to deliver a high-quality experience.
- Monitor project budgets and resource allocation, taking corrective action to prevent cost overruns and delays.
- Maintain strong communication with the client, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.
Who you are:
- 5+ years of full-time game/interactive experience, software or government project management experience, managing clients at scale.
- Proficiency in SAFe Agile methodology and game development lifecycle management.
- PMP preferred.
- Familiarity with project management tools (JIRA, Trello, Asana) and UXR reporting platforms.
- A passion for games & interactive experiences, with a special interest in educational or instructional best practices.
- Familiarity with gaming trends and player behaviors is a plus but not required.
- A strong understanding of how user research informs game design and player experience preferred.
