The Opportunity:

CACI is currently seeking a FPGA Engineer The firmware team supports a wide range of multi-channel software defined radio applications including surveillance, emitter location, and interference cancellation.  Supported platforms range from resource-constrained small UAV’s and wearable devices to manned aircrafts, submarines, and naval ships.  The firmware team supports getting our DSP applications, as well as our customers’ applications onto the latest Xilinx Versal devices on CACI produced Switchblade digital processing cards.

Responsibilities:

The selected candidates will be responsible for:

  • Algorithm exploration, architecture definition, abstract modeling, and FPGA implementation, verification, and delivery.
  • Duties involve all aspects of FPGA development, including documentation, modeling, implementation, simulation, synthesis, and integration, and test.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Must be eligible for a Security Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science or equivalent
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • 3+ years experience to developing and maintaining large, high-speed FPGAs for communications systems and/or signal processing applications.
  • 3+ years of experience exposure with large, dense, high-speed FPGAs (e.g., Xilinx, Altera) using VHDL or Verilog

Desired:

  • TS/SCI Clearance
  • 3+ years’ experience developing and maintaining large, high-speed FPGAs for communications systems and/or signal processing applications.
  • MS degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science or equivalent
  • Experience with embedded programming and software development, such as C/C++ or Python

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$85,800 - $180,200
