The Corporate FP&A Senior Analyst will be a key player in analyzing and interpreting business trends to support strategic decision-making at Analog Devices. In addition to monitoring financial performance and market dynamics, this role will support ad-hoc financial projects, assist with investor relations activities, and provide detailed analysis to help optimize business operations. This ideal candidate is an independent thinker, has a high level of intellectual curiosity and accountability, with strong analytical capabilities, a strategic mindset, and the ability to communicate financial insights clearly.
Key Responsibilities:

Business Trend Analysis:
Monitor and analyze key business performance trends, including revenue, margins, operating costs, demand fluctuations, and inventory levels. Identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities to provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership.

Trend Identification & Reporting:
Leverage advanced analytical techniques to identify long-term and short-term trends that affect the business. Deliver timely insights on potential opportunities and risks to leadership, and provide recommendations based on financial data and industry benchmarks.

Investor Relations Support:
Support investor relations by preparing relevant financial reports, presentations, and responses to inquiries. Analyze market trends, financial performance, and strategic initiatives to assist in the preparation of quarterly earnings reports and other communications with analysts and investors.

Ad-hoc Projects & Financial Analysis:
Take ownership of ad-hoc financial projects as needed by leadership, delivering in-depth analyses on specific business issues, strategic initiatives, or market conditions.

Financial Reporting & Dashboards:
Develop and maintain financial dashboards and reporting packages that highlight key performance indicators (KPIs) related to financial and operational performance.

Continuous Process Improvement:
Drive improvements in financial planning and analysis processes to ensure greater accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with business needs. Focus on enhancing forecasting and reporting tools.

Qualifications:
-
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics or related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus.

Experience:
5 years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, data analysis, or FP&A. Prior experience supporting investor relations / experience in the semiconductor, technology, or manufacturing sectors is a plus.

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends. Able to independently develop insights and provide actionable recommendations that drive business performance.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, Anaplan and financial analysis tools.

Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial data and insights to senior management, investors, and non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Attention to Detail:
High level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially when analyzing demand trends, inventory data, and financial reports.

Business Acumen:
Solid understanding of business operations, cost structures, and profitability drivers, with a particular focus on inventory management and demand forecasting in a high-tech or manufacturing environment.

Team Player:
Ability to collaborate effectively across various functions, including operations, supply chain, and sales, to deliver comprehensive financial analysis and drive business performance.
