NABA is currently seeking motivated individuals for the role of
Financial, Planning and Analysis Assistant
The successful candidate will join the FP&A team in Milan. Reporting directly to the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, he/she will support the team in providing financial and analytical insights to enhance business operations. In this role, the candidate will assist in ensuring easy access to financial data, tracking key projects, setting budgets, developing financial forecasts, and monitoring key performance indicators. Under the supervision of the FP&A Manager, she/ he will also contribute to the optimization and automation of financial processes, playing an active role in driving efficiency and accuracy within the department.
The selected candidate will carry out the following activities:
- Supporting the preparation of monthly management reports by analyzing key variances and trends against forecasts.
- Identifying the nature of variances (fixed/phasing) and promptly updating forecasts.
- Assisting in revenue, cost, and CAPEX forecasting, collaborating with department heads.
- Reconciling the latest forecast with budget values.
- Supporting budget preparation for all entities by creating the Masterfile and consolidated NABA overview.
- Uploading actual and budget data from SAP into the Group reporting tool Tagetik.
- Monitoring FTE and student numbers via Tagetik, ensuring monthly updates.
- Ensuring monthly reconciliation of intercompany transactions with Group entities.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate possesses the following qualifications and skills:
- 2-3years of experience in FP&A, Controlling, or Business Analysis, preferably in structured environments.
- Strong skills in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and management control.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and preferably SAP and Tagetik.
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Degree in Economics, Finance, or related fields.
- Good knowledge of English for reporting and group interactions.
