Job Description
As a member of the FP&A Team, the employee will oversee all financial processes (Actuals/Budget/Landing) related to SG&A monitoring across the EMEA region ensuring data reliability and will be a key player in the cost and resource optimization.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver highest reporting quality through detailed review of data accuracy and alignment with Group standards as well as proper monitoring of costs associated with M&A projects.
- Analyze SG&A in the EMEA region, identifying risk and opportunities, to prepare insightful monthly and quarterly reviews.
- Work closely and liaise with regional stakeholders (Countries/Functions/Commercial) during budget, especially with the HR Function, ensuring timely data upload in the corresponding systems (BFC, SAP).
- Coordinate the EMEA SG&A Landing process across the region, summarizing main impacts and updating the system.
- Build partnerships with Regional Function and Platform Heads to support cost monitoring and identify opportunities for resource utilization and cost optimization.
- Produce and analyze benchmarks, dashboards and ad-hoc analysis as needed.
- Support the Global & EMEA OPEX FP&A in various FP&A/Controlling improvement projects and initiatives.
- Engage with the EMEA Accounting teams during the month-end closing process by defining and calculating provisions, providing cost allocation rules and monitoring I/C reinvoicing flows, etc.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 5 years of professional experience in Controlling/FP&A, ideally in a multinational company with a matrix organization
Education:
- University / Business School – Bachelor degree in Finance or above
Languages:
- English - fluent verbal and written
Technical & Functional skills:
- Strong knowledge of Finance processes in terms of analysis and forecasts (ideally in a multinational company): analysis of variances, coordination of a budget process, etc.
- Good accounting culture (knowledge in IFRS is a plus) with a strong analytical mindset
- Strong analytical skills, ability to compile and interpret key data
- Ability to manage multiple information in a complex environment (many contacts and stakeholders)
- Excellent knowledge of Excel / Powerpoint and appetite for reports development & BI
- Experience with standard reporting/accounting tools such as BFC, EPM, SAP
Soft skills:
- Self-starter with strong independent working capabilities, critical thinking and proactive approach to problem-solving
- Multitasking expert with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities effectively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
