The opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Foreperson to join our Waipaoa Maintenance crew. In this role you’ll see yourself responsible for leading the day-to-day activities of an operational crew to deliver work on time, on budget and safely. You will deliver a quality service, developing the capabilities of your crew, engaging with staff and clients daily and ensure our high standards of health and safety are met by your team.
In addition to the above you will:

We’re looking for someone with:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in civil construction / maintenance
-
Minimum class 2 licence
-
WTR endorsements
-
A background in road construction, including pavement construction
-
Proven experience in supervising and leading a crew
-
Previous plant experience in a construction environment

Ability to communicate clear expectations to your team and suppliers
-
Accountability for resources, including people management and supply allocation

A can-do attitude and the ability to problem solve

An unwavering commitment towards safety with a safety record to match
