Job Description
NBCUniversal is looking for a Fleet Service Technician to join the Studio Operations team in Doraville, GA. In this role, you will support the repairs and maintenance of all on-lot vehicles which includes largely rentable production assets and a small fleet of golf carts. You will also be the primary liaison for an external vendor as needed.
What You'll Do:
- Work closely with the Manager of Transportation, Transportation Scheduler, and broader Transportation team for billing, outsourcing, and scheduling with production
- Support basic maintenance on all related rental and in house transportation equipment (i.e. tire changes/repair, light mechanical work, general vehicle service)
- Data entry for repair and maintenance records
- Administer check in and check out procedures with the direction from the Manager of Transportation and Transportation Scheduler.
- Fleet oversight
- Responsible for vehicle and equipment presentation
- Responsible for liaising with 3rd party providers for major equipment repairs
- Responsible for vehicle diagnostics, and troubleshooting
- Golf cart maintenance and repair
- Responsible for annual vehicle inspections
- Subject to U.S.D.O.T. mandated drug and alcohol testing
- Will own and provide basic mechanical tools

What You Must Have:
- 5+ years of vehicle mechanic experience
- 2+ years' experience and proven ability to perform diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle types
- 2+ years exhibiting strong communication and relationship management skills with all levels and types of production and fleet roles
What Would Make You a Stand-out:
- Class A Driver's License
- Fleet repair and maintenance experience
- Prior billing and vendor partnership experience
Additional Requirements:
- Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
