About This Role:

Crusoe Energy is expanding its operational team and is seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic to join us at our Williston, ND facility. Reporting directly to the Fleet Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our fleet of vehicles, trailers, and mobile assets are maintained to the highest standards. Your work will directly support our operational goals by keeping our fleet running smoothly and efficiently. This role is essential for minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repairs, who can effectively troubleshoot and solve mechanical issues. This is a full-time position that requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a passion for keeping equipment in top condition.

What You’ll Be Working On:

  • Vehicle Inspections and Diagnostics: Perform thorough inspections, utilize diagnostic tools, and interpret data to identify and address vehicle issues.

  • Repair and Maintenance: Execute a wide range of repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other systems, and conduct routine maintenance tasks.

  • Testing and Quality Control: Conduct post-repair tests and inspections to ensure functionality and safety.

  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of repairs, diagnostics, and services, and create accurate repair estimates.

  • Safety Consciousness: Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.

  • Tools and Equipment Maintenance: Properly use and maintain hand and power tools, and ensure diagnostic equipment is in working order.

  • Customer Service: Interact with drivers, provide clear explanations of vehicle needs, and address questions and concerns.

  • Travel: 10% Travel Requirement.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Expertise: 5+ years of relevant experience in vehicle maintenance and repairs.

  • Ford Truck Fleet Experience: Direct experience working with Ford truck fleets (preferred).

  • Diagnostic and Troubleshooting Skills: Proven ability to use diagnostic tools and interpret data to troubleshoot vehicle issues.

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills to effectively interact with drivers and team members.

  • Safety and Compliance: This position is designated a safety-sensitive position and/or is located in a safety-sensitive facility. Drug and alcohol program participation is required.

Compensation:

Compensation will be paid in the range of $35 - $45/hr. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
