Flavorist Assistant

We are currently searching for our next Flavorist Assistant to join our Creation team in Kocaeli, Turkey. In this role you will work under the instruction of creative Flavorists to support the development of new flavors for customers and introduction of new ingredients to the C&D community.

Job Responsibilities;

• Understand and support formulation process including accurate compounding of flavors, raw material handling and measuring analytical properties,
• Maintain organized laboratory conditions, manage, and transfer raw materials and flavor stocks,
• Observe laboratory and plant safety rules and GMP’s,
• Interface with cross-category departments including applications, sales, QC and sensory as necessary for completion of job tasks,
• Apply flavors into bases and participate in tasting and product evaluations,
• Prepare raw materials for evaluation,
• Understand key steps in projects from creation to application, production, and scale up,
• Build basic understanding of C&D and R&D library/tools,
• Support customer visits when needed.

Job Requirements;

• Strong computer skills, e.g. Microsoft Office, SAP,
• Strong practical math skills,
• Good communication skills both written & verbal. English is required,
• Two/Four Year Degree, in food or chemical science preferred.
