Role Description
Dropbox is hiring a forward-thinking FP&A Systems Administrator to join our Corporate FP&A Systems team. This role is a unique opportunity to lead the management and optimization of Oracle EPM tools, ensuring our financial planning and reporting processes are seamless and future-ready. You will design and implement scalable solutions, integrating data from modern platforms to empower our FP&A team with timely, actionable insights.
This role demands technical expertise in Oracle EPM tools—PBCS, EDM, Narrative Reporting—as well as advanced skills in Groovy scripting, ASO/BSO cube architecture, and data integration. Responsibilities
- Administer and enhance Oracle EPM tools (PBCS, EDM, Narrative Reporting) to support comprehensive budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Design and optimize data integration workflows using tools like Alteryx, ODI, and APIs to connect platforms such as Oracle ADW, Snowflake, and Databricks.
- Write advanced business rules and leverage Groovy scripting to build flexible, high-performing planning models.
- Architect solutions leveraging BSO/Hybrid and ASO cubes for robust system performance and scalability.
- Develop intuitive dashboards and advanced analytics in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Design and optimize complex allocation models, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and runtime efficiency.
- Create and maintain workforce planning models, incorporating advanced calculations for headcount, compensation, and benefits.
- Troubleshoot complex system issues, ensuring reliability and integrity during critical processes like forecasting and month-end close.
- Collaborate with FP&A and cross-functional teams to define requirements, implement best practices, and deliver seamless solutions.
- Proactively explore and implement new Oracle EPM functionalities from monthly and quarterly updates, ensuring alignment with evolving business needs.

Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of financial systems administration experience with a proven track record in Oracle EPM tools, including PBCS, EDM, and Narrative Reporting.
- Mastery of Groovy/MDX scripting, advanced business rule development, and optimization techniques for both ASO and Hybrid cubes.
- Expertise in designing and optimizing allocation models, with a focus on runtime efficiency and scalability.
- Deep experience in workforce planning, including building models for headcount, compensation, and detailed financial scenarios.
- Proven ability to design and maintain robust data integration workflows using tools like Alteryx, ODI, or equivalent ETL solutions.
- Comprehensive understanding of modern data warehousing concepts and platforms such as Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW), Snowflake, and Databricks.
- Advanced understanding of FP&A processes, including strategic planning, bottoms-up budgeting, scenario modeling, and financial reporting.
- Demonstrated excellence in performance tuning of calculations, reducing runtime, and improving user experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex system challenges under pressure.
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

- Hands-on experience creating interactive dashboards and visualizations in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) or Tableau.
- Certifications in Oracle EPM, such as Oracle Planning Cloud Implementation Specialist or Oracle Data Integration certifications.
- Mastery of Groovy/MDX scripting
- Proven ability to automate workflows and implement advanced scheduling for system processes.
- Experience leading large-scale financial systems transformations or standardization projects.
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments with competing priorities.
