Job Overview

As a Financial Planning & Analysis intern, you’ll work on key projects aimed at improving processes, building new ones, and delivering financial and data insights that support strategic decisions.

In this role, you’ll contribute to day-to-day operations, support special initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The internship wraps up with a final presentation to the leadership team, where you'll showcase your work and the value you’ve delivered.

What you’ll do (Specific Responsibilities)

• Assists in compiling financial data and quantitative analyses, in order to support sound and defensible recommendations.

• Assist in review and analysis of basic financial planning information and reports, to make recommendations to management.

• Follows best practice policies, in order to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

• Supports month end close process by reviewing recurring/standard and ad hoc reports, researching basic general ledger activities and variances to budget and prior year.

• Assists in updating financial database by identifying sources of information and entering, verifying, and securing data.

• Assists in the preparation of financial presentations using a variety of formats, displays, reproduction of charts, graphs, and econometric models.

• Supports the development of budgets and forecasts.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

•Current undergraduate student preferably majoring in Finance and/or Accounting.

•Exposure to financial and accounting concepts

•Strong analytical abilities

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•High attention to detail and commitment to quality work

•Demonstrates initiative, a proactive attitude, and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

•Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

•Familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint

•Experience/Interest in Data Analysis

General Intern Information – Date/Location/Schedule

Internships will take place June – August, 2025.  This role will be based in Plainsboro, NJ and operate on a required hybrid schedule – 3 days in the office and 2 days remote per week.
