Creation Technologies is looking for an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join its team. The Finance Manager, Dallas (Plano) will have two main roles:
1) Prepare the monthly financial reviews, forecasts, and annual operating plans across the site, interacting across the Creation Technologies matrix to effectively communicate financial results, risks and opportunities.
2) Trusted Business Partner, with a team of highly skilled professionals across site functions to support and influence the regional finance organization to drive efficient processes, generate valuable insights and produce effective communication.
This candidate will be an intellectually curious, individual contributor with high energy and have a passion to make the company successful. He/she will have the mentality to think like the owner of the business and take a proactive yet collaborative approach to accomplishing business goals. This position reports directly into the Director of Finance, SEC Region, with a strong dotted line to the Vice President / General Manager Dallas. The role will be based at our site Plano, TX location.
- Manage the BU monthly financial review process supporting $28M+ in annual revenue, including coordinating activities across functions, businesses, and groups, developing a thorough understanding of the results and providing insights on trends.
- Reviews and provide insights on profit and loss statements, including risks & opportunities
- Own the Annual Operating Plan process, Monthly Forecasting Process, including full P&L, Headcount and Inventory forecasting
- Clearly communicate a cohesive and concise story around business drivers and potential implications on future results.
- Serve as an objective financial steward and a trusted business partner who enables effective decision making that identifies opportunities to drive revenue growth, margin improvement and cost savings.
- Develop financial forecasts and support long-range planning processes with BU partners and Regional/Enterprise teams.
- Provide support to BU teams in matters of cost, budget and inventory control including preparing analytics impacting materials and labor to influence manufacturing operational process improvements.
- Support/ analyze cycle count and physical inventory results.
- Partner with other finance disciplines to enable business performance: controllership, transformation and integration, analytics, systems, and continuous improvement
- Assist with year-end audit, as needed
- Other ad hoc requests as required.
Skills and Competencies
- 5+ years of relevant financial experience.
- Experience in a global manufacturing and supply chain environment. Standard costing environment preferred.
- Strong influence management skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Detailed understanding of financial budgeting and forecasting concepts and modeling.
- A team player who is collaborative and receptive to ideas from others and works effectively across functions to identify and resolve critical issues.
- Proven ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
- A creative, yet pragmatic, problem solver who is hands-on as well as detail oriented.
- Excellent planning, execution, and project-management skills.
- Experience working with a SaaS CPM Solution such as Adaptive Planning, Planful (Host Analytics), Hyperion, Oracle, etc experience a plus.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Education
- The Finance Manager, Dallas for Creation Technologies must have a Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting.
