The Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting business decisions through financial forecasting and modeling, providing insights that help drive strategic planning and operational efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 0-3 years of experience who is eager to develop their skills in financial analysis and corporate finance in a flexible, remote or hybrid work environment.
What You’ll Do:

Build and maintain financial dashboards and reports, analyzing data trends to recommend actionable solutions.

Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning.

Perform variance analysis, identifying key trends and providing insights to management.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and assumptions for accurate financial projections.

Effectively communicate data findings and insights to department leaders.

Support the preparation of internal and external financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

Help drive process improvements in collaboration with operational leadership.

Assist business owners in meeting budget targets and complying with financial policies.

Participate in ad-hoc analyses and special projects to support strategic business decisions.

Track and monitor key financial metrics to improve overall financial performance.
Ideal Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Math, Economics, Statistics, Finance, Accounting or related field.

0-3 years of experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, FP&A, or a related finance role.

Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and/or data analysis.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Working knowledge of the principles of financial statements, ratio analysis and trend analysis

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

A proactive, problem-solving attitude and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have:

Experience with planning software (e.g. Adaptive, Hyperion, NSPB, etc)

Local to the Nashville area is a big plus
