Job Description:
- Design, develop, and support systems within the financial modeling and research area.
- Develop tools for investment platforms, systems, and improved analytic capabilities.
- Design and implement high quality financial model application components and frameworks.
- Actively investigate to improve quality of new and/or existing software.
- Design and develop new code and review existing code changes to ensure standard technology development practices are met.
- Lead the day-to-day operational execution of software solutions to assist with the monitoring and control of market and credit risks.
- Assist with application development and modifying and/or maintaining applications.
- Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of development tools and languages.
- Assist other areas of financial research and engineering when defining requirements for systems applications.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Position may be eligible for part-time telecommuting.
Job Requirements
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree* in Financial Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related quantitative field plus 2 years of experience in a financial modeling or analytics occupation.
Experience must include the following:
- 2 years of experience with programming in Java, specifically application development stacks.
- 2 years of experience in Java libraries such as Spring/Spring Boot/Spring Cloud, Hibernate, or Kafka.
- 2 years of experience developing RESTful APIs using framework such as Spring etc. in a professional environment.
- 1 year of experience with databases such as SQL Server, Sybase, Redis or MongoDB.
- 1 year of experience with automated unit, integration, regression, performance, and acceptance tests.
- 1 year of experience with operating systems such as Linux.
- Demonstrated knowledge** of working with clients on building financial products and tools to meet their needs.
- Demonstrated knowledge** of working in the financial service industry.
- Demonstrated knowledge** of CI/CD processes and tools such as Gradle, Jenkins, Git and Docker.
OR

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $130,000 - $196,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
