Financial Controller

Come and join our team as a Financial Controller. In this role, you will be a key member of GEA Farm Technologies, a specialized division with GEA Group. With a dedicated team of 12 employees, you will focus on financial management, reporting, and ensuring compliance, driving the financial health and integrity of our operations.

Responsibilities / Tasks

As Financial Controller, you will prioritize optimizing business and reporting processes. This includes developing and updating models and tools, particularly in Excel, and consistently ensuring effective follow-up on services provided by the Shared Service Center.

Furthermore, you will:

• Manage financials and prepare monthly financial statements
• Oversee annual financial statements, including auditor contact
• Prepare materials for the annual audit
• Conduct cost control and manage transfer pricing documentation
• Handle income tax declarations in the Nordic countries
• Engage in financial project management, budgeting, forecasting, and group reporting.

Your Profile / Qualifications

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with a strong background in finance and accounting. The ideal candidate will be precise, persistent, and deadline-oriented, consistently delivering quality work and proactively identifying opportunities for optimization. You should thrive in an international work environment, excellent in communication and collaboration, and bring positivity and engagement to the team.

Moreover, we imagine that you:

• Have a background as an auditor and/or controller (HD-R, cand.merc.) or similar qualification
• Preferably have experience in a similar position with a solid understanding of finance and accounting
• Possess strong IT and analytical skills
• Exhibit a business-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt to new finance areas, including ERP solutions
• Have advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and preferably SAP and BI
• Are fluent in both Danish and English, written and spoken.
