At our office in Oslo, you will join the Finance and Controlling Team in GEA Norway, to support all finance related topics in a fast forward moving company with direct link to GEAs Nordic management team.
Responsibilities / Tasks
As our new Financial Controller, you will be a key member of the team, when you focus on financial management, reporting, and ensuring compliance, driving the financial health and integrity of our operations.
You will continuously optimise business and reporting processes, e.g., by developing and updating models and tools in primarily Excel – and also ensure a consistent and effective follow-up on services provided by the Shared Service Centre.
Among other things, you will handle:
- Financial reporting and quality assurance of monthly, quarterly, and annual results to the Group and our auditor
- Contributions to salary run booking
- Compliance tasks and reporting
- Controlling support across the Nordic cluster
- Follow up Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
Your Profile / Qualifications
As a detail-oriented person who meets deadlines with precision, you are able to consistently deliver high-quality work. You should furthermore feel comfortable in an international work environment, excel in communication and collaboration, and bring a positive and proactive attitude to the team.
Moreover, we imagine that you:
- Have a background as a controller or a similar qualification, with a bachelor's degree
- Preferably have experience in a similar position with a good understanding of finance and accounting
- Possess good IT and analytical skills
- Exhibit a business-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt to new finance areas, including ERP solutions
- Have advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and preferably SAP and BI
- Are fluent in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken.
