Job Description
The Financial Controller supports planning and control cycles and the production of financial reports while documenting processes and ensuring compliance with internal guidelines.
As an IdM/DSP partner, they manage critical controls related to the ERP system and oversee compliance processes. They also play an advisory role in the setup of systems and processes.
Main Responsibilities
Financial Policy and Compliance:
- Apply Bosch guidelines and legal regulations to financial processes.
- Monitor compliance with reporting and internal control guidelines.
- Develop instructions for optimal use of the ERP system.
Planning and Control Cycle:
- Prepare and manage various files for budgets, month-end, and year-end closings.
- Manage tools for budgets and closings.
- Improve efficiency and ensure the quality of reports.
Reporting:
- Deliver periodic and ad-hoc financial reports.
- Ensure the quality and timeliness of reports.
- Initiate improvements to optimize processes.
Control:
- Monitor financial objectives and identify deviations.
- Ensure correct interpretation of guidelines and respect deadlines.
Optimization of Processes and Systems:
- Identify opportunities for process and system optimization.
- Define requirements for specific adjustments.
Qualifications
Experience and Expertise: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Controlling & Finance.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of SAP is a must and strong P&L interpretation.
Controlling and Strategy: Strong expertise in controlling, budgeting, and forecasting. Ability to guide the organization from a control perspective, beyond reporting alone.
Team Player and Independence: Team player with the ability to work independently.
Interdepartmental Collaboration: Ability to effectively collaborate with other departments.
Language Skills: Fluent in English and preferably a good knowledge of Dutch. French is a plus.
