Financial Analyst

In GWM Citi’s Institutional Clients are served Citi Trust has a long heritage of providing fiduciary services in strategic locations across the world. We closely cooperate with teams in Zurich, Jersey Channel Islands, Bahama, Singapore as well as our Project Team in fiduciary services area.
The position of Senior Financial Analyst combines two financial aspects: General Ledger (GL) accounting and Reconciliation (Corporate reporting).

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and posting GL entries based on reports from sub-ledgers.
• Reviewing payments and posting related entries.
• Clearing open items in Accounts Payable and Receivable, data analysis of detected discrepancies.
• Timely execution of month-end-close activities. Performing financial reporting and reconciliation tasks.
• Preparing and reviewing tailored investment reports Daily liaison with other functions within Citi and business partners (Finance, Global Fee Billing team, Fiduciary Services, Trust Officers, external vendor).
• Preparing & reviewing supporting documentation for internal & external audit purposes.
• Dealing with ad-hoc and outstanding queries, resolving complex accounting and reporting.
• Implementation of process enhancements and task management.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in GL accounting or audit / financial reporting is a must – minimum 2 years.
• Previous experience in supervising process and task management - minimum 1 year.
• Good understanding of GL and data reconciliation process.
• Demonstrated leadership, project management skills.
• Adequate ability to identify, mitigate, manage, resolve, and escalate risks and issues.
• Excellent written and oral English.
• Excellent MS Excel skills & analytical mindset. Good communication & time-management skills.
• Proactiveness & multitasking skills.
• University Degree - preferable in Finance, Accounting, Tax or Economy.
