We are seeking a highly motivated and Financial Analyst to join our Canadian Wealth Group. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, providing critical insights to support strategic decision-making. This position reports directly to the Director of FP&A and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of CI Financial.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making
  • Support the budgeting process by collaborating with department heads to develop, review, and finalize annual budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and financial targets
  • Prepare detailed financial reports for senior management and stakeholders, providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Produce monthly management reports, highlighting key financial KPIs and metrics.
  • Assist in the month-end variance analysis, interpreting key trends and underlying drivers and identify areas for improvement
  • Opportunity to participate in projects and business initiatives, providing financial insights to drive business performance

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • In-progress CPA, CFA, or other relevant professional designation, or desire to pursue designation
  • 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detailed-oriented, extremely self-motivated and dedicated, and a good team player.
  • Knowledge of the wealth management industry is a plus.
  • Previous experience with Workday Financials or Adaptive Insights is a plus.
